Inclusive Parents

Thanks to funding from Comic Relief we are once again able to run an inclusion course for parents. This autumn Kit Messenger, from Changing Chances, will be at the Baird Primary Academy Nursery, teaching parents about the whole-school inclusive learning approach at The Baird. photo: community training

Songseeds

Hastings Thrives are running songwriting sessions at the wonderful Sensoftplay sessions in Ore on Saturdays, with core funding from Youth Music. These sessions are led by Annie and Gaston Goliath who have over 20 years experiene working with young people with autism.

Science lead training

After long delays, due to Covid, we finally managed our first stage of science teacher training in Hastings. Six schools from Hastings particated for the day, with the session led by Jacky Cross. Shining Star

Twinkle Ansar’s song Deep Waters, written for our Sea Of Dreams course, has made it to the Song Academy top 10 finalists in the age category 8 – 12yrs. Well done Twinkle for your haunting and inspiring song for the environment.

Science Teacher Training

With support from the Magdalen and Lasher Trust, we are running Science Lead Training course and support in Hastings schools.

Great News. We have funding from the Foreshore Trust for our online Songwriting Competition.

Robsack Wood Primary Academy

We are very pleased to be working with Dewberry Year 2 class at Robsack Academy Primary Academy.  Anna Page is helping them to write a Christmas song and training their teacher along the way.
